Can I lock my Optidrive to prevent parameters being changed?

Yes, Optidrive products contain 2 security parameters that can be set to prevent access, ‘Parameter Lock’ and ‘Extended Menu Access Code’.

The ‘Parameter Lock’ parameter is located in the extended menu. It is set to value 1 to prevent any parameter changes, value 0 to unlock.

The ‘Extended Menu Access Code’ parameter controls access to the extended menus through entry of a designated code.

To prevent any changes to the drive parameter set your own code in the ‘Extended Menu Access Code’ parameter and then set the ‘Parameter Lock’ to value 1 to lock all parameters. Ensure the ‘Extended Menu Access Code’ is kept safely for future reference.
